If you're here, you probably already know us. We'll introduce ourselves properly a bit further down, but first we want to say something important: we know texts like this tend to be long and boring. And that, honestly, a lot of people accept the terms without reading anything. We get it, but we encourage you not to do that.This document explains everything you need to know about how Papelzinho works, what you can and can't do, and what to expect from us. And we made a point of writing it in a light, clear and direct way, the Papelzinho way. So, shall we?
Who is Papelzinho?We're an app that makes organizing Secret Santa a whole lot easier. Forget the mess of lost slips of paper, wrong draws or confusing WhatsApp groups. Here you create groups, draw participants, fill in gift lists, chat anonymously and can even buy right from our little store.Our legal name is ORLA DIGITAL LTDA., and we are responsible for this app, headquartered at Av. Sto Amaro, 3131 - apt 1506, São Paulo/SP, ZIP 04555-000, CNPJ 47.408.019/0001-35, but you can just call us Papelzinho. ;)
Who is "You" here?Whenever we say "You" with a capital Y, we mean whoever is using the app, whether to organize the Secret Santa (Administrator) or to join the fun (Participant).
  • Administrator: the one who creates the group, adds everyone and manages it all. They're also the one who accepts these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
  • Participant: the one who gets the invite to join the group and takes part in the draw and the gift exchange, even without an account in the app.
Why do these terms exist?These Terms exist to explain clearly how Papelzinho works, what can or can't be done, and to make sure the fun is safe, light and enjoyable for everyone. By continuing to use the app, you agree with everything here, so it's worth giving it a read.
Sign-up and useTo use the app as an Administrator, you'll need to sign up with some basic information: name, phone and/or email. We explain everything in detail in our Privacy Policy.
How does Papelzinho work?Papelzinho is an app available for Android and iOS. After downloading and signing up, you can:
  • Create Secret Santa groups (with or without paying for it)
  • Add participants (minimum of 3 to draw, maximum of 99)
  • Set a budget for the gifts
  • Set the reveal date
  • Write a custom group description
  • Send invites by WhatsApp or email
  • Draw the participants (and redo it if needed)
  • Track who has viewed the draw
  • Get important notifications: reminders, countdown, group updates
  • Customize your profile with a note about your gift preferences
  • Use the chat with direct access to the gift list and store links (like Amazon)
  • Add dependent participants (kids, pets, elders), linked to another participant and with no per-person limit
After the draw, each participant:
  • Gets who they drew
  • Fills in gift suggestions
  • Leaves notes with preferences (color, size, brand, etc.)
  • Can buy directly through the Papelzinho store
  • Exchanges anonymous messages with their Secret Santa
Good-manners rulesA few more important agreements:
  • No using the app for anything illegal or against Brazilian law;
  • No sending offensive, abusive or inappropriate messages;
  • It's forbidden to put illegal or dangerous items on the gift list;
  • No trying to trick the system (like rigging draws, creating fake profiles, etc.);
  • Access to your groups is your responsibility;
  • If you suspect any strange access, reach out to us right away.
Oh! And if any judicial or police authority requests your information, we may be required to provide it, okay?If any part of these Terms is deemed invalid by some authority, the rest stays fully in effect. And just because we didn't enforce something in a specific case doesn't mean we give up enforcing the Term later, okay?
Limitations of liabilityWe work hard to keep Papelzinho running smoothly, but technical issues can happen. We don't guarantee everything will be perfect 100% of the time. If something goes wrong, we'll try to fix it, but we can't promise an immediate solution for everything.
Privacy and personal dataBy using Papelzinho, you agree to our Privacy Policy. We only collect what's needed to make the app work well and will never share your data without need or without your permission.
Third-party servicesSome links inside Papelzinho may take you to external sites or services (like online stores). We're not responsible for deliveries, payments or support handled outside the app. That's between you and the retailer, okay?
The Papelzinho storeWe make your life easier, but we don't sell the products directly. The store items are offered by partners. Anything about payment, delivery or returns, you handle with the product's seller.
Intellectual propertyAll Papelzinho content (name, brand, design, code, etc.) is ours. You can't copy, distribute or try to create a similar app using any part of our content.
CancellationIf you want to stop using Papelzinho, just stop or delete the app. There's no account to delete, but you can leave the groups whenever you want.
Jurisdiction and governing lawAny legal matter will be resolved under Brazilian law, in the Central Court of the District of São Paulo - SP.
